“This webcomic is based on the true story of Sister Angelica Schultz, OSF, and her involvement in the Chicago Freedom Movement in 1966. As her niece and great niece, we appreciate this chance to share her seldom-told story with others.

She was a humble person who avoided calling attention to her actions. She viewed them simply as following the path of Jesus.

While ‘Mom’ and ‘El’ are fictional characters and the webcomic takes creative license with some of the details, we hope Sister Angelica’s story inspires you to help make a more just world today.”
